Pasco LLL - Angeline Academy of Innovation

The Angeline Academy of Innovation is a state-of-the-art STEM-focused institution in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. Its mission is to cultivate curious, critical thinkers equipped with the knowledge and skills to pursue STEM-related careers, solve real-world problems, and contribute to a brighter community future. As part of the new construction of this modern learning facility, ACCI was selected as the low voltage contractor responsible for delivering a complete suite of integrated systems including Structured Cabling, Fiber infrastructure, Security, and Audiovisual systems—to meet the Academy’s advanced technological and communication needs.

Scope of Work

ACCI provided full low-voltage systems design and installation for the new Angeline Academy of Innovation. Our scope included:

  • Structured Cabling System (SCS): Installation of Superior Essex Cat 6A cabling and single-mode fiber to support data, voice, and network infrastructure throughout the campus.
  • Security Systems: Complete Honeywell CCTV and intrusion system with IP cameras, NVRs, and surge protection.
  • Fiber Optics: Backbone and inter-building fiber cabling for high-speed data transmission.
  • Audio & Visual Systems: Installation of an AV system incorporating Bogen, Atlas, Shure, and West Penn components—speakers, microphones, cabling, and amplifiers—for classrooms and common areas.
  • Paging System: A schoolwide Bogen paging and intercom system for announcements and communication.

Throughout the project, ACCI deployed 20 or more technicians to maintain progress and meet all completion goals.

Technology and Materials

ACCI utilized premium materials and components to ensure system reliability and longevity, including:

  • Superior Essex Cat 6A cable and single-mode fiber
  • Ortronics jacks, faceplates, and patch panels
  • CPI cable management solutions, including ladder racks and equipment racks
  • Honeywell video surveillance and intrusion systems

Successful delivery of the project was made possible through collaboration with:

  • Wesco – Provided Procurement of material required for the Planar Video Wall
  • Graybar – Procurement and distribution support
  • Borrell Electric – Pathway and General Contract Coordination

 

ACCI’s internal teams – Dedicated project managers, site supervisors, and technicians who executed all aspects of installation, integration, and testing

ACCI’s unique advantage lies in our ability to provide specialized expertise across multiple systems under one company—eliminating the need for multiple subcontractors and ensuring seamless coordination across trades.

Challenges and Solutions

The project presented several challenges typical of large-scale new construction:

  • Site Accessibility: The school’s location posed logistical challenges for both technicians and distributors. ACCI mitigated these issues through detailed scheduling and strategic delivery coordination.
  • Scheduling Constraints: Tight timelines required ACCI to rapidly scale manpower by hiring and deploying additional technicians and assigning a new on-site supervisor to maintain project momentum.
  • Trade Interference: Delays from other trades caused temporary standstills. ACCI adapted by accelerating our work pace and extending hours, leveraging our team’s experience in fast-track project execution.

Safety and Training

All ACCI technicians on-site maintained proper Lift Certifications and completed General Contractor Safety Training to ensure compliance with jobsite safety requirements and uphold our commitment to safe work practices.

Outcome

The LLL Angeline Academy of Innovation was successfully completed within the project timeline, equipped with robust and reliable low-voltage systems that support the school’s innovative STEM learning environment. ACCI’s integrated approach—combining expertise in structured cabling, security, AV, and audio—ensured that the Academy’s infrastructure is both future-ready and efficient.
